We created TacitRed to deliver tactical attack surface intelligence – curated, actionable intelligence that matters. We don’t just produce meaning from billions of datapoints – we’re a force multiplier for security analysts and a risk reducer for commercial and government organizations.

Leadership
Driven by a collective passion for cyber security, our team at TacitRed is a collaboration of subject matter experts with deep experience and an ethos to protect national interests. From cyber threat intelligence and offensive security specialists to veterans in information security and cyber insurance, each member brings a wealth of expertise to the table. We leverage our diverse skillsets to cultivate an unparalleled active attack surface intelligence.
Consultant and engineer with a 23-year progressively responsible professional history in key leadership and technical positions in the defense, commercial software, telecommunications, and automotive industries. Background includes extensive international experience with large-scale systems integration projects as well as membership in the International Council on Systems Engineering. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams while empowering clients to achieve desired operational results by applying theoretical knowledge of multiple disciplines including systems engineering, Human Systems Integration, business process engineering, and integration and test.
Scott Gordon is the Chief Marketing Officer of Cogility driving overall go-to-market, presence, and federal and commercial growth. An avid cyber evangelist, he brings more than 20 years of experience contributing to successful early and late-stage enterprise software and SaaS start-ups. Prio to Cogility TacitRed, he held executive leadership positions at Pulse Secure, ForeScout, RiskIQ, AccelOps, and Protego. Scott holds a CISSP security certification.
Jeremy leads the TacitRed Team as Head of Cyber and Risk. Turner’s experience as an intelligence analyst, threat hunter, cyber domain expert, data scientist, and a “power user” of our platform, Cogynt, puts him in a unique position to lead our cyber strategy. Jeremy was previously the Lead Threat Hunter at Q6 Cyber and prior to that was the Head of Threat Intelligence at Coalition, a leading cyber insurance company.
Jason runs internal operations for the TacitRed Team. Wagner has 25 years of experience developing tools for national intelligence and cybersecurity analysts. His range of experience covers quick-response tools to support capture of national threats and architecting key components of analytic tools for finished intelligence used by all 18 members of the intelligence community. He joins Cogility from the cyber insurance company Coalition, where he was hired to lead the security tooling development.
Thomas joined Cogility in August of 2023 as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Scientist. He brings experience as a former pen tester, incident response analyst, cyber insurance underwriter, and risk analyst. At his previous role at Coalition, he launched the security underwriting for the Large Market Segment (1-5 billion in annual revenue), performed ransomware claims analysis, and developed industry leading underwriting guidelines.
